Atsushi Nishijima

Atsushi Nishijima has created sculptures and installations inspired by sounds and presented compositions and performances of the experimental music since the mid 80ís. Recently, he had a solo exhibition at Location One in New York and participated in a group exhibition, One Hand Clapping: The Interstices of Sound, Language, and Silence at Smack Mellon in DUMBO, Brooklyn.... He also presented sound performances at Knitting Factory, Tonic and Galapagos.... He has actively played with many musicians including Takehisa Kosugi, Haco,Eye Yamataka....
