David Last Heagle

David Last produces sound and images in Brooklyn New York. Since hearing Kraftwerk and psychedelic Beatles records as a child, he has been interested in dub, psychedelic or experimental music, and traditional music from around the world. Since the 90s the ability to manipulate and destroy sound files has changed the way electronic music is made, but the musical-sound aspect of his work has retained its same basic elements since he began composing in the 1980s. He has been a regular contributor to NYC live electronic music performance series such as UnityGain and TV Static. His discography includes releases on Plasmalab, Rhythm Sha, Genuine Particle and Fuzzy Box Records.
