MARK C

Return to the underground city, is a multi-projector slide show and solo electronic music jam. The evolution of this project reflects Mark Cís on going exploration of still photography and reconfigured sound samples. Recurring themes in the dissolving images and live soundtrack suggest an imagined, speculative drama. Mark C has performed and installed early versions of this work in clubs and performance spaces in New York and Europe. He has also performed regularly in unitygain. His redfield project is a collaborative effort mixing electronic music with different vocalists. His recent video projects include backing visuals for Bob Mouldís modulate tour and several short works in Beeldenstorm, a multi-media festival in Kortrijk, Belgium. He is a founding member of the rock bands Spoiler and Live Skull.
