
Hahn Rowe
Hahn Rowe AKA Somatic has been involved in a wide array of musical endeavors
since his arrival in NYC in the early 80's. As a violinist and guitarist he
has performed and/or recorded with Hugo Largo, Bosho, Zahar, Foetus,Inc., Glenn
Branca, Swans, Michael Brooke, Syd Straw, REM, and KRS-1, among many others.
Production work includes David Byrne's "Feelings" and Mimi's "Soak", both on
the Luaka Bop label. He has composed music for the dance companies of Meg Stuart/Damaged
Goods, BeBe Miller, David Dorfman, and Margarita Guergue. Currently he has been
active composing music for film. His most recent projects include "Married in
America" directed by Michael Apted, "Spring Forward" by Tom Gilroy, and the
HBO documentary "Paternal Instinct" by Murray Nossel.
